Attorney Wassim Malas joined Bender, Larson, Chidley, Koppes, Hetfield & Associates in 2025, bringing over a decade of experience from his solo practice, Hilal Law LLC. He maintains a diverse practice focusing on estate planning (including Islamic estate planning), real estate, landlord-tenant, business, and tax law, with growing expertise in family law. Wassim serves a varied clientele, delivering tailored legal solutions to individuals and small businesses.
He is a member of the Dodge and Jefferson County Bar Associations and was selected as one of three participants in the State Bar’s Rural Practice Development Program, enhancing legal access in underserved communities.
Wassim is dedicated to community engagement, leveraging his past leadership as the executive director of a 501(c)(4) nonprofit to promote civic involvement and education. In his free time, he enjoys reading philosophy and connecting with the local landscape.
